Price plans for Web Hosting Account

The one-time setup fee is required for opening your Web Hosting Account. For every one Web Hosting Account, this one-time setup fee is $10.00.

In addition, the monthly rental fee for your Web Hosting Account is required. Based on the maximum disk space, this monthly rental fee is determined:

For all the hosting plans, $10.00 will be charged as the one-time setup fee.

Every month, you have a chance to switch to another hosting plan. For example, if you order 5 MB for your first month, you can select 20 MB for the second month. But, at this time, you no longer need to pay the one-time setup fee anymore.

The payment for Web Hosting Account will be made every month. By the due date, you need to pay the rental fee for the subsequent 1 month. The payment period starts when your Web Hosting Account is ready. Assuming that you subscribe 20 MB on October 7th and your Web Hosting Account is ready on October 9th, the total amount of your first payment will be:

Because we offer 5 days FREE trial, your first due date will be October 14th. From October 9th to October 14th, you can try our services. Only if you are satisfied with our services, please make your payment until October 14th.
Your due date for the subsequent payment term will be the 8th of every month. Before November 9th, you will need to make the payment for the subsequent 1 month. At that time, you have a chance to change the hosting plan for the subsequent 1 month.

All the Web Hosting Account includes the following features:

• Graphical statistics of your access log by Webalizer
• You can download your access log
• Unlimited E-mail forwarding
• WML/HDML in Japanese Shift_JIS, Chinese GB2312 or BIG5

In the subsequent sections, we will introduce these features.

Access Log

Each time when somebody in the world visits your web page on your Web Hosting Account, the following information are recorded on our system:

• Which page s/he visited
• When s/he visited
• Where s/he came from
• From which IP address, s/he accessed

As you notice, these information may be helpful to improve the quality of your web site. At every 00:30 AM (UTC), Webalizer updates the graphical statistics for these information. And you can view them by your web browser. Note that only you can access these graphics, i.e. they are placed on the directory protected by your user name and password.

Other than Webalizer, there are many programs for generating graphical statistics for the access log. And you may prefer to use them. In this case, you can download the raw access log which is saved as the text file. Again, at every 00:30 AM (UTC), this raw access log file is updated on our server. It is zip compressed and available on the directory protected by your user name and password. Please feel free to download it whenever you like. On your local machine, you can run your favorite program to generate graphical statistics.

The graphical statistics and the raw access log are saved on the disk space other than your Web Hosting Account, i.e you need not to bother how much disk space will be occupied by these files.

E-mail forwarding

Because you are the owner of your domain names, you can have as many e-mail address as you like. For example, if you open the web site at:

your e-mail address should be:

or something. When we open your Web Hosting Account, we will prepare the e-mail addresses below:

And, as default, all the e-mails to the above addresses are forwarded to your existing e-mail address (the e-mail address which you specified at the subscription time). For example, your existing e-mail address is foo@bar.com, then the e-mails sent to sales@yourdomain.com will be re-directed to foo@bar.com. If you need additional e-mail addresses or you'd like to specify another destination e-mail address, please contact us. We will setup them at FREE.

WML/HDML in Japanese Shift_JIS, Chinese GB2312 or BIG5

You can write your WML/HDML in your native language, such as Japanese Shift_JIS, Chinese GB2312, Chinese BIG5 or Russian KOI8-R. In case that your WML or HDML is written in the charset other than ISO-8859-1 (you can think of it as US-ASCII), our Apache Web servers should append the appropriate charset extension to the HTTP Content-Type header. For example, if your WML is written in Japanese Shift_JIS, the HTTP Content-Type header should be:

• text/vnd.wap.wml; charset=Shift_JIS

To make it possible, we will configure our Apache Web servers to set the charset for your requirement.
If you are familiar with Apache Web server, you may want to write .htaccess file by yourself. As you know, some configuration directives, including the charset extension, can be specified by this file. But, our Apache Web servers do not read your .htaccess files, because reading .htaccess files per request will result in the performance reduction. Instead, please request us to set the charset extension for your requirement.

If you make the sub-directories under your Web Hosting Account, you can allocate the different charset per directory. For example, if your web site hosts the WML both for English and Japanese, your Web Hosting Account will have the sub-directories like:

• http://www.yourdomain.com/en
• http://www.yourdomain.com/ja

And all the WML under the first directory should be written in ISO-8859-1 (you can think of it as US-ASCII), while the ones in the second directory in Japanese Shift_JIS.
