Mercury was developed for JCE 1.2, depending on the "clean-room" implementation of JCE 1.2 by ABA. After that, Sun has released JCE 1.2.1, which cannot work with the "clean-room" implementation of JCE 1.2. For details, please read: The bad news is that ABA is no longer working to implement the JCE. But, don't worry. We are working on the new version of Mercury, which can be used with JDK 1.4. It is in the final stage of the development, and please request us to send the beta version if you wish.
