Electronic Software Delivery (ESD) is the shopping cart for digital goods. Your customers put the products into the shopping cart, make their payment by credit card, and download the products.
By Distributor from OOP-Research, you can easily open your e-book store, MP3 music shop or sell your software. Distributor is the easy to use shopping cart. Your customer can select as many products as s/he likes. Whenever the product is selected, the total payment amount is updated. Distributor can work with the credit card gateway system by WorldPay(TM) and iBill(TM). Just after your customer makes the payment by the credit card, s/he can download the selected products.
This is the introduction of Distributor.
What is ESD?
Distributor is Electronic Software Delivery (ESD) by OOP-Research. This ESD provides the shopping cart for digital goods, and works with the following credit card authorization gateway:
The list of your digital goods, such as e-book, MP3 music or digital photo, is shown to your customers.
Your products can be searched by the category or the keyword.
Whenever your customer selects one product, s/he is asked whether to accept or deny the license agreement regarding your copyright.
Only when your customer accepts the license agreement, the selected product is added to the shopping cart. At the same time, the contents of the shopping cart are updated along with the total payment amount.
You can offer the free trial (or demo) version of your digital goods.
For example, your customer can select the trial version of your e-book, which includes only the first 2 chapters. Or, you can distribute the demo version of your software, which works only for 30 days.
When your customer selects all the intended items, s/he can make the payment by the credit card.
The payment is processed through the credit card authorization gateway by WorldPay(TM) or iBill(TM).
Then, your customer can download the selected products by the web browser.
If your customer puts only the trial version of your products into the shopping cart, s/he will never be brought to the payment page, i.e. s/he can download the trial version immediately.
You can easily upload your digital goods on your shop.
All you need is web browser.
In addition, you can offer the free upgrade of your products.
When the newer version of your software is available, the existing customers can download the latest version.
This is possible, because the unique cart ID and password for the shopping cart are issued to each customer.
Using this unique ID and password, your customers can login to the download zone again and download the latest version.
By this free upgrade feature, you can sell the weekly or monthly published e-books.
For example, your customer purchases 1-year subscription of your e-books, s/he can continue to download the latest materials for 1 year.
In addition, your digital goods can be distributed in the file encrypted by RSA and you can send the public key to decrypt it to only the authorized user.

From $2.50/Month, we will open your Web Hosting Account for your domain names.
Please upload your HTML, XHTML, HDML and WML on your Web Hosting Account and open your web site.
Then, under your own domain names, your web site can run our Web Applications.
You can rent Distributor as one of our Web Applications.
The one-time setup fee is $20.00.
Based on the items to be registered, the following monthly rental fees are available:

To setup Distributor, you need to open your Web Hosting Account with your own domain name. For details about Web Hosting Account, please read Introduction of our services.
If you use iBill Processing Plus of iBill(TM) as the credit card gateway, we strongly recommend you to select SSL option, while it is not mandatory for Distributor. In case of iBill(TM), your customer will need to send the credit card number from your web site. The sensitive information can be protected by SSL, which will make your online shop more reliable. The fee of SSL option is:

If your web site does not use SSL, your customer may hesitate to supply the credit card number and cancel the transaction. This is why we recommend you to use SSL on your web site.
